1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By accessing or using Shard's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE Shard provides financial infrastructure APIs including wallet funding, virtual card issuance, and eSIM provisioning. Services are provided on an "as-is" basis.

3. ACCOUNT OBLIGATIONS You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify Shard immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. SERVICE LEVELS Shard commits to the uptime and reliability guarantees specified in your service agreement. Service credits apply for SLA breaches as defined in your plan.

5. DATA HANDLING Shard processes data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all customer data processed through our platform.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Shard's liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. Shard is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. TERMINATION Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, Shard will provide a 30-day data export window.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Transaction data is processed exclusively for the purpose of completing financial operations.

3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. We maintain SOC 2 compliant security practices.

4. DATA RETENTION Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial regulations. Account data is retained until 90 days after account closure.

5. THIRD-PARTY SHARING We share data with third-party providers (banks, card processors, eSIM carriers) only as necessary to provide our services. We never sell customer data.

6. YOUR RIGHTS You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Requests are processed within 30 days.

7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international data transfers.
