Can I use Shard for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes a virtual card, multi-currency wallet, and peer-to-peer transfers at no cost. You only pay when you use premium features like eSIM data plans or currency exchange at commercial rates.
What are the fees for card transactions?
Card transactions are free on the Plus and Pro plans. On the Free plan, we charge a small 1.5% fee on international transactions. Domestic transactions are always free on all plans.
How does the free trial work?
Plus and Pro plans come with a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then. We'll remind you before your trial expires.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the app settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for your Shard plan using your wallet balance, a debit card, or bank transfer. For annual plans, we also support direct bank deposit.
